B vitamins play a vital role in maintaining good health and well-being. As the building blocks of a healthy body, B vitamins have a direct impact on your energy levels, brain function, and cell metabolism. Vitamin B complex helps prevent infections and helps support or promote proper nerve function; healthy brain function; energy levels; cardiovascular health; muscle and tendon health; cell health; production of red blood cells; good eyesight; good digestion; hormones and cholesterol production.  These can be found in one pill at your vitamin store.

B 12 is a very important vitamin. B12 is one of eight B vitamins.   It is found in food such as fortified cereals, milk, meat, and eggs.  B 12 is not found in fruits and vegetables and your body doesn’t make it. If you are on a vegan diet, you may want to supplement your diet.  If you have numbness tingling or altered sensation, you may have a low B12 level.  These are signs of a pinched nerve which most people come to a chiropractor.  With a B12 deficiency, you can have the same symptoms and over time, any nerve damage that happened due to the deficiency could be permanent. You can find this vitamin even as a sublingual which means you can take it under your tongue for better absorption.

B9, folic acid also called folate is another important vitamin.  If you’re anemic and is responsible for the development of the nervous system in utero. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant take B9, folic acid or folate.  B9, folic acid or folate is found in legumes nuts, beans, peas, green leafy vegetables, and fruits such as oranges, lemons, strawberries, bananas and melons. This vitamin may help your nervous system and you will find it combined with B12 where you find your supplements.
