MYTH: Chiropractic adjustments hurt.

 

TRUTH: Chiropractic adjustments do not cause pain, but instead provide relief to pain. The sensation you feel when you get adjusted is a massage-like manipulation that realigns your joints relieving pain. There is rarely any discomfort in an adjustment, and most patients report feeling nearly instant relief from their pain following an adjustment.

 

MYTH: Chiropractors can only help with back pain.

 

TRUTH: Chiropractic care can treat all areas of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Chiropractic treatment can helps with neck pain, hand and foot pain, and even stomach pain. Since your body is interconnected, all moveable joints in your body can be adjusted to help relieve pain.

 

MYTH: I cannot afford chiropractic.
