Most people’s legs are not the same length. It is not uncommon to have a small difference in the leg length between your left and right leg. Chiropractic care can help you regain your spinal alignment. This may result in back, knee, hip, or ankle pain. Chiropractic care helps loosen your joints and muscles affected by your leg length inequality. But you still have a short leg. An orthotic heel lift balances out your legs, which balances your hips and pelvis. The lifts come in different sizes and needs to be the correct “size” for you. An inexpensive lift can be taken from shoe to shoe. If when your leg inequality has been balanced then you can have a shoemaker put in permanent lifts in your shoes.
An individual who suffers from recurring lower back pain should visit a chiropractor to pursue a diagnosis. If leg length inequality is the cause, patients must rest assured it is manageable in most cases.
If you think you have leg length discrepancy, give me a call and we can discuss your options. We are located in Tarzana, close to Reseda, Van Nuys, Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Northridge, Encino, and West Hills. Please give our office a call at (818)881-2225.
